The historic Okanagan Falls Hotel was built and opened in 1950, is one of the original historic buildings of the community, and holds a key part in the communities rich history. The hotel housed and host many travelers, ranchers and railroaders- whos business and accommodation were a vital component to the towns survival. The hotel remained open from then on as a core part of the bustling community until 2018, when it was temporarily closed. The community of OK Falls truly felt the loss of its closure.

The hotel came under new ownership in 2022, got a huge renovation- while still preserving its historic features, and reopened in spring of 2023 totally revamped! Since opening, it has breathed life into the community once again for locals and travelers.
